Endgame/Krapp’s Last Tape advertisement - PR6003 E285 Z9 1958
To A. J. Leventhal, 8 September 1977: "Labouring on at Krapp with RIck Cluchey & bevy of young St Quentinites all come from Chicago for the awful occasion. Conditions far from satisfactory, sporadic use of stage booked for other productions. Akademie technicians unhelpful, etc. Till day before yesterday we rehearsed in my studio fortunately spacious. Rick has great difficulty vocally and my way of doing it is against his grain. But all very keen and it shouldn't be too bad in the end." -The Letters of Samuel Beckett: 1966-1989, p. 469
