Inscribed "for Aidan Higgins" by Beckett, Paris, August 1951. Newspaper clipping titled "Wrong body taken by undertakers" and dated 17.11.51 is pasted alongside the poem "Malacoda."
Beckett had to pay for the printing costs of this collection of 13 poems. Higgins was an Irish writer and friend. Washington University also holds a first edition of Watt inscribed by Beckett to Higgins.
